Hello, Everyone,
Just a quick note to bring you up-to-date on a few things...
First, I want to thank all of you who participated
for making the Hilton Head Island Jazz
Festival Survey a success. Overall, reaction to the
proposed festival was very positive and your responses about
the specifics (timing, length of festival, etc.) will be very
helpful as we present the idea to local officials and potential
sponsors.
Congratulations to the winners of the survey drawing—Nick
Fitch, David Oaks, and Tor Anders Rasmussen— who will
receive a copy of my new CD Presence
and Carmen's new CD, You Still
Don't Know Me.
Perhaps our next giveaway will be tickets to the new festival!
I also want to let you know about a special bonus track
to Presence that is now available exclusively on iTunes. The
track, which is called "Anymore," is a cool funky
groove that my daughter Lizzy and I co-wrote and it was a
chance for our whole family to do a project together. On it,
you'll hear Lizzy on lead vocal and Carmen and Christina on
backing vocals.
If you have a chance, check it out at the iTunes
music store. It is available both as a single and as part
of the iTunes version of Presence.
